Lawn Doctor is a growing lawn care company committed to providing high-quality lawn care services and exceptional customer experiences throughout the Charleston area. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Commercial Lawn Care Lead to join our field operations team.
Position Overview
The Commercial Lawn Care Lead is responsible for performing commercial lawn care treatments while ensuring services are completed safely, efficiently, and to Lawn Doctor’s quality standards. This is a hands-on field position requiring strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering consistent results.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled commercial lawn care applications and treatments.
- Operate and maintain commercial lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all treatments are completed according to company procedures, service specifications, and safety guidelines.
- Evaluate turf conditions and identify potential concerns, including weeds, disease, and insect activity.
- Accurately mix, measure, and apply lawn care products according to label instructions and company standards.
- Maintain accurate service records, treatment documentation, and daily production reports.
- Inspect equipment and vehicles to ensure proper operation and report maintenance needs.
- Communicate property concerns, service issues, and treatment recommendations to management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Lawn Doctor positively while servicing commercial properties.
- Assist with training and guiding other field technicians as needed.
- Meet established productivity, quality, and customer service expectations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in lawn care, turf management, landscaping, or commercial property maintenance preferred.
- Experience operating commercial lawn care equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned commercial routes efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to follow written instructions, product labels, and safety procedures.
- Pesticide applicator certification preferred or willingness to obtain required licensing.

Compensation: $48,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
