Lawn Doctor of Greater Jacksonville is looking for motivated, dependable individuals who want to build a long-term career in professional lawn care. While lawn care experience is a plus, little to no experience is required. We are looking for people with a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
We offer a paid 2-6 week training program where you will work alongside experienced technicians learning everything you need to become a successful Lawn Care Technician. During training, you will be paid a weekly salary. Once you successfully complete the program and demonstrate that you can safely and independently service customers, you will be assigned your own truck and transition to our production-based pay plan, allowing you to earn more based on your performance.

Daily Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizer and weed control products
- Learn to diagnose lawn problems, insects, and diseases
- Perform routine shop duties
- Recommend beneficial services to customers
- Safely operate company equipment and vehicles
- Deliver outstanding customer service
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work outdoors in all Florida weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
Preferred but Not Required
- Lawn care or landscaping experience
- Florida Limited Fertilizer (LF) License
- UF/IFAS BMP Certification

Compensation: $46,800.00 - $58,200.00 per year
