Lawn Doctor of The Woodlands, Magnolia, and Tomball is growing quickly and is looking for individuals dedicated to providing high-quality, customer-focused lawn care services to join our team. We are looking to add great team members to help with our goal of being the premiere lawn care provider in Montgomery County and Northwest Harris County. We currently are specifically looking for a Lead Lawn Care Technician. This position will play a key role in our strategic growth.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and train an operations crew
Assist Operation Manager
Ensure procedures and policies are followed
Recognize and implement process improvements
Share goals to be the premier lawn care company in the area
Apply fertilizers, weed control, and insect control to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions
Identification of pests, cultural problems, and the proper use of select products
Effectively communicate with customers regarding treatment and recommendations for services
Maintain vehicle and equipment through cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance
Being a key team member in helping to keep production running efficiently

Qualifications:

A Structural Pesticide License is preferred
Agronomy and Horticulture knowledge
Desire to be a part of a fast-growing company with lots of opportunities to grow professionally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as math skills
Ability to listen and learn quickly
Positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed
Proven success in being self-motivated and working with little or no supervision
Industry experience and/or education is helpful, but not required
Physically able to consistently lift 50 lbs and work in strenuous situations
Willingness to work in all types of weather
Clean Texas Driving Record and criminal background
Must be able to pass drug screening

Actual work experience in the lawn care industry is highly desirable and will be compensated accordingly.

Compensation $17 to $25 per hour depending on previous work experience plus performance bonuses and commission opportunities.
We offer paid holidays, vacation time, health insurance reimbursement, and IRA matching.

Compensation: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
