Lawn Doctor is looking for an experienced Lawn Care Technician to join our growing team. We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality, customer-focused lawn care services.
A minimum of 2 years of professional lawn care experience is required.
Our Lawn Care Technicians are customer-facing representatives of the Lawn Doctor brand and play an important role in both the quality of our services and the relationships we build with our customers.
Responsibilities
- Applying fertilizer, weed control, and other lawn treatment products
- Aerating and power seeding lawns
- Identifying common lawn and turf issues
- Safely operating lawn care equipment and machinery
- Maintaining equipment and assisting with shop duties
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Recommending additional lawn care services when appropriate
- Completing assigned routes efficiently while meeting quality and production standards
Qualifications
Candidates must have:

2+ years of professional lawn care experience

Hands-on experience applying fertilizer and lawn treatment products
- Knowledge of proper fertilizer and weed-control application techniques
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to safely operate lawn care equipment and machinery
- Ability to meet daily production and route goals
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
We are especially interested in candidates with experience in fertilization, weed control, aeration, seeding, turf maintenance, or similar professional lawn care services.
